Fortifying The Vehicle – [proper
structure]
In this incarnation the vehicle is
our body ! In order to create a tool that can be shaped, developed and improved
upon throughout our growth in practice and throughout our Earthly existence in
general, we need to implement the concept of “Right Structure”
In our bodies that means correct
posture, the mechanics of natural alignment, integrated movement and the
natural harnessing of energy created by our connection to Heaven and Earth..all
bringing us closer to our final goal on the physical plane; Removing all
obstacles.
This principle of “ right
structure” is also a main element
in the development of our
character traits and has a major effect on our spiritual practices and mental
discipline.
As in our physical practice, we
need to be conscious of our behavioral habits and the condition of our mental
state. Therefore, in “ refining the clarity” of our moment to moment
consciousness or “mindfulness” we must direct the mind in stillness. My master
often told me that the way I think directs the way I act. ..
And so, he directed
me to practice training my mind to develop positive mental habits,
strengthening the inner structure by stabilizing the mind with meditation and
to seek emptiness in contemplation of the whole and perceive the
whole while contemplating emptiness.
